Review the possibilities of BaaS …

The world is about to have the next industrial revolution. It might be the era of IoT or AI or both. But for sure we know the amount of devices connected to the internet is growing faster than ever before. Next two decade time everything would be connected and controlled over internet, therefore it will not be easy for us in the front line of technologies. Let’s talk about some ideas how blockchains might benefit IoT to widen its sphere.

Background

IoT is short for Internet of Things. The Internet of Things refers to the ever-growing network of physical objects that feature an IP address for internet connectivity, and the communication that occurs between these objects and other Internet-enabled devices and systems. To connect the devices we have to go refer to the following networks methodologies.

  1. Centralized networks
  2. Decentralized networks

Nowadays most of the devices are connected in a centralized manner. But think connecting — lets say 50B devices to a few centralized networks and collect all data.It is risky. Every node is an entry to a possible attack. When we say ‘IoT devices’ , it is not just sensors collecting data but also actuators which can do task in our environments. So it is not that simple!!!
